

Our sense organs help us to see, and hear. smell, taste, and feel. They help us to know the world around us . we have five sense organs that collect information and then send it to the brain. They are the eyes, the nose, the ears, the tongue, and the skin. The brain, on receiving information from the sense organs, helps us what we see, hear, smell, taste, and touch. So, we take care of each sense of the organ.
1. CARE OF OUR EYES:
Our eyes are very delicate organs. They need to be taken care of. Here's how we can do it.
(a) Wash our eyes with cold water every morning.
(b) Do not watch television (TV) for too long.
(c) Eat plenty of carrots, papaya, and leafy vegetables. They keep our eyes healthy.
(d) When dust falls into our eyes do not rub it. Wash it with clean water. If there is redness, pain, or itching in the eyes, see a doctor.
(e) Do not play with sharp objects. They may hurt our eyes.
(f) Do not read in dim light. As a result, our eyes may go weak.

2. CARE OF OUR TONGUE:
If we do not care about it, we should not be able to enjoy the different tastes of food. So, we take care of it.
(a) Clean our tongue with a tongue cleaner after brushing our teeth.
(b) Do not eat anything too hot. It can burn our tongues.
(c) Do not eat too salty or sour food or food with a lot of chilly in it.
3. CARE OF OUR EARS:
We should not be able to enjoy all the sweet sounds we hear each day without our ears. So, we take care of them.
(a) Do not use match sticks or even earbuds to clean the ears. It can hurt the eardrum.
(b) Do not allow water to enter our ears.
(c) Dry our ears after a bath.
(d) Remove the wax in the outer ear gently with a piece of cloth.
(e) See a doctor if we have pain or itching in our ears.

4. CARE OF OUR NOSE:
Our nose is an important organ and needs to be taken care of too.
(a) clean our nose with a soft cloth or with water. Do not put your fingers into it.
(b) Do not put any objects into our nostrils.
(c ) When we go out, and cover our nose with a handkerchief to keep the dust-out.
(d) See a doctor if your nose is hurt or if it bleeds.
5. CARE OF OUR SKIN:
Our senses of sight, hearing, smell, and taste are found in specific parts of the body but our sense of touch is found all over our body. The skin gives us a sense of touch. It is an amazing organ. It covers our body, helps us feel the world around us, and also protects our internal organs. Our skin can tell us if something is hot or cold. It can tell us if there is pain or pressure. So, we take care of it.
(a) Keep the skin clean and dry. Wash with soap and fresh water.
(b) Wear clean and comfortable clothes.
(c) Apply cold cream in winter to prevent our skin from getting dry.
(d) Wear a hat when we go out in the hot sun.
(e) Eat plenty of fruits and vegetables. It will make our skin glow.
(f) Drink plenty of water. It will make our skin smooth.
